Option 2
requires
a one year internship, an internship fee, and 60 content area observation hours
in a secondary classroom. All course work requirements must be
completed before candidates can register for the one year
internship.
Students must
register for 6 hours (fall and spring semesters) through the Teacher Education
Program.

No courses may be
taken until the student has been admitted to the Graduate
School.
For admission to the Teacher Education Program, candidates
must fulfill the following requirements.
Must be admitted to the Graduate School; Must have passing scores on the TASP - Reading 260, Writing 220, Math 230; Must complete and submit the Teacher Education Admission Packet; Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA The Nine Prerequiste Undergraduate Courses must be in these areas.
