"Expand your view at Prairie View"

It is a pleasure to introduce you to the College of Juvenile Justice and Psychology, the first and only one in the nation. Thank you for visiting our website. We hope that as you browse, you will find not only the information that you need, but you will consider applying to one of our seven degree programs. We have three undergraduate degrees, two masters degrees and two Ph.D. degree programs.

The College's programs are interdisciplinary, drawing from criminal justice, criminology, sociology and psychology. Scholarly activity may be further pursued through investigation into juvenile issues in the research unit of the Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center. This Center is the foundation for our innovative academic programs.

Our curricula ensure that you will acquire the research and knowledge competence for entry into your chosen career. Our faculty provide a teaching and learning climate for personal growth and development. Please feel free to visit each program on the web and contact us soon. We hope to hear from you.
