Mission
   The mission of the Prairie View Undergraduate Medical Academy (PVUMA) is consistent with the overall mission of Prairie
   View A&M, and the Texas A&M University System. Therefore the Academy is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research,
   service, and professional development. The PVUMA emphasizes the integration of leadership development and pre-medical
   science without sacrificing concern and compassion for the community.
